ART & CRAFT WINS AT 2015 RAIA AWARDS

1+2 Architecture has won the 2015 Royal Australian Institute of Architects, Tasmanian Chapter Award for Residential Architecture - Alterations and Additions for our latest residential creation: Art & Craft. Even more impressive than the length of the name of the award, is the fact that the same project also brought home the Award for Heritage Architecture. This is part of what the jury had to say:

"The extension is masterful, with beautifully considered detailing and bold and generous spaces that pay respect, in a contemporary style, to the detail and scale of the original house."

1+2 would like to thank the owners for the vision and  aspirations which have led to the re-birth of this significant heritage property.
